Salesforce not hiring Software Engineers in 2025 is a scary yet exciting trend. They've shifted focus from building CRM to now building their AI Stack AgentForce which is a platform that allows organizations to create, customize, and deploy AI agents to perform various business functions. Marc Benioff is extremely bullish on this tool, so much so that he is shifting his current Salesforce teams towards working on Agentforce and stopping hiring of new talent into the company. If this is a sign of things to come, then hiring might get frozen for a bit till companies are able to figure out the true capabilities of AI and where do they need humans in the entire value chain. Saying it again, if this isn't the best time to be a founder, I don't know when is :)
