"Economics Scientific Profile: - PhD in Economics. - Strong academic background in econometrics and modelling techniques. - Experience in applying these techniques to the climate/ecological context. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: - Make use of big data in an environmental/ecological context to assess the current situation in some of the most important natural resources and/or eco-systems. - Make use of machine learning approaches to analyse the impact of international political institutions agreements (namely the World Trade Organization) in areas such as natural resource extraction and its impacts. - Propose climate/ecological policies in the various dimensions of the Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems Nexus. - Design climate/ecological policies that make use of innovative policies. - Promote communication with society (private and public organizations) on findings of the research conducted. - Interact with policy makers in order to help design environmental public policies for mitigation and adaptation to climate change. - Help monitoring the National Plan for Energy and Climate 2030 and the Roadmap for Carbon Neutrality 2050 and associated public policies, in relation to their economic impact, in accordance with the thematic line 1 of the SocioDigital Lab for Public Policy – Regenerative Territories for Carbon Neutrality. - Contributing to developing research proposals and applications to national and international funding opportunities"

Has anyone who has been doing this (recruiting) long enough observed an evolution of what qualifies as a BA vs BSc? I'm looking for a chemist turned sales person--so I assumed looking for BSc/MSc as opposed to just 'all Bachelors' on LI Recruiter would weed out folks with BBAs, etc. Nope. I've seen BSc in Marketing, Advertising, etc. MSc's are more pared down, I still believe Industrial Organization should be a MBA concentration, but that's a different conversation. Have we....redefined science? Meanwhile many universities offer BAs in hard sciences if you want to forego a research semester.
