Arohan Financial Services Limited, a part of Aavishkaar Group, is hosting Health Express - free health check-up camps in collaboration with 7 NGOs across 12 states—Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Tripura, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and West Bengal— spanned across December 2024 and January 2025. This initiative aims to improve health outcomes by providing essential medical care and empowering communities, especially in underserved areas. The camps will offer basic health metrices and assessments. You know, Bihar is India’s Youngest State with 57.2% of Bihar’s population under the age of 25 and a median age of 22 and it becomes extremely crucial to generate more employment opportunities. I have been to Bihar twice for my guest sessions at IIT Patna and have seen the current state, there is a long way to go to improve upon Infrastructure, Health, Social Wellness and generate employment Opportunities. Having been closely associated with jobs and the market, I came across this clip at Invest Bihar, where Pranav Advani is talking about how Bihar has been growing and Adani has been investing in various sectors. As I hear, more than 51,000+ jobs for the youth of Bihar to be generated across multiple core sectors with the plan that is to put in picture. I still believe upskilling is important and getting aware of it early might change the future and generations ahead. What do you think? The Worker Population Ratio (WPR) in urban India is steadily improving, with 18 out of 22 major States and UTs experiencing job growth between April-June 2023 and the same period in 2024. The states with the highest increase in WPR during this period were Himachal Pradesh, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Jammu & Kashmir. Conversely, Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Bihar experienced a decline in WPR. The sharp rise in WPR in Himachal Pradesh warrants closer scrutiny, while Bihar's stagnant WPR, the second-lowest after Jharkhand, remains a concern.
