Such a pleasure to discuss how we can accelerate the scaling of deep tech companies today at TechBBQ. Here are some take aways from what I shared being an opererator, investor and Board member in deep tech companies: - Let’s try to balance the pacing of company building between the perspective from traditionel tech investors with the perspective of our science and engineering teams on what actually needs to be derisked before getting to a commercial prototype. - Scaling deep tech solutions can only be done in partnerships - no one player can develop a deep tech solution in energy, bio, food, quantum etc. and take it to market without strong partners in the value chain. - New investment models will have to see the day to get more deep tech to the market - the bunderies between what is venture and infrastructure will have to be softer to get more first of a kinds out there. - Look out for mature foundational platforms in all deep tech spaces - and build applications around those. Just as it has been done in software. People aren't accounting for how big of a deal this will soon be, and yet how tantalizingly close we are. The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its growth as a key player in enterprise generative AI (GenAI) dataset creation, management, and orchestration. Founded in 2019 by brothers Vahan Petrosyan and Tigran Petrosyan, SuperAnnotate is a provider of enterprise software for managing and creating large-scale multimodal AI datasets.
