To all companies and organizations, according to UN Women, today, women control $20 trillion in annual consumer spending and, by 2028,women will control nearly 75 per cent of consumer discretionary spending globally. Therefore, companies that invest in women-owned businesses and adopt inclusive sourcing practices will be well positioned to access this commercial opportunity than those that do not.
All of us have benefited from public procurement. ???????? What’s shocking is, only 1% of the goods & services we enjoy are supplied by women-owned businesses. Join ITC & UN Women in our global campaign on gender-responsive public procurement (#GRPP). ?? https://bit.ly/3V5g7zC
