Turns out it’s still cool to have your own office ?? WRKPLC had an opportunity to visit The Sweet Factory this week to learn more about why cool, inspiring companies like Candy Kittens and JamPot Productions are still backing the physical office. From speaking to Jamie, it’s clear why he still believes in the physical office. The environment he and his business partner Edward Williams have created characterises their brands - buzzing with energy, exciting and inspiring the next generation. I love hearing the success stories of companies that have clearly set out their office strategy and then delivered on it with a world class space. Do you think offices help create exciting experiences? #workplace #design #architecture #culture #experience
We’ve already seen the pull back to the office. Not only by owners but staff (dirty word). True connection, collaboration and project specific engagement can only really come from being together. We are seeing this in our work and in fact a further drive to enhance the environments to cater for all divergencies. I see this going one way. Increased occupancy and productivity Tom Hitch
Great perspective
Love this! There's definitely something special about a physical office that can’t be replicated. The energy, creativity, and connection that come from being in a well-designed space make a big difference. Jamie and Edward are nailing it with The Sweet Factory—shows how an inspiring environment drives success!
Absolutely they do. An opportunity to create a space which replicates the ethos of the business and adds to it.
Colours, patterns and vibe. No white walls! ????????
Love this!
Look forward to the further content on this Tom Hitch!

4 周Ooh I’m excited for any content from this discussion Tom. I must say, thoughtfully designed office spaces should be championed. My experience too recently is seeing offices adding a few sofas and coining an area a ‘collaboration’ space. More often, these spaces are left empty and unused which isn’t cutting it for the workforce of today. I’d love to see more leaders and managers supported in how to use these spaces to encourage collaboration, creativity and a new way of working. ??
