When people first encounter Lixing’s Chinese name, “力行,” they often ask, “Why this name? What does it mean?” The name “力行(Lì Xíng)” originates from the traditional Chinese idiom “身体力行,” which translates to “experience with your body, act with your effort.” It reflects the philosophy of making an all-out effort and taking action personally. At Lixing, this meaning represents our commitment to embodying our values through action and dedication in everything we do. To celebrate the new year, we’ve created a traditional Chinese couplet that includes our company name: (Read from right to left) ??力耕新居 (Lì gēng xīn jū) – Finding new homes with dedication, ??行筑万家 (Xíng zhù wàn jiā) – Creating thousands of happy lives with action and care. This couplet reflects our vision and promise to our partners and clients. Wishing everyone a wonderful Chinese New Year filled with joy and prosperity!?????? #ChineseNewYear #Londonproperty #CNY #2025 #YearofSnake #Londonrealestate

Walking through Tallinn’s Old Town, I arrived at Maiasmokk Kohvik, Estonia’s oldest cafe, founded in 1864. The vintage sign above the cobbled street quietly reflected its long legacy—outlasting wars, governments, and generations of staff. Countless people must have poured their energy into Maiasmokk, yet only its name and reputation remain. This cafe stirred a reflection on legacy, especially in corporate life, where we often see titles as entitlements rather than platforms for impact. Just like the staff who once ran Maiasmokk, we may give ourselves to our roles, but ultimately, it’s the brand, not our individual titles, that endures. Titles are placeholders; they don’t capture values or real contributions. True legacy is built on substance, not status. In corporate life, titles feel powerful, but they’re rented words, easily replaced. The moment we attach too strongly to them, we lose sight of purpose. Imagine each chef at Maiasmokk thinking the cafe’s success depended solely on them—it might not have lasted. Instead, it adapted, enduring beyond any single person. Real legacy isn’t about titles but lasting impact, built by those who focus on what they leave behind. If we shift from “What’s in this for me?” to “How can I make a difference?” we move closer to real legacy. Like Maiasmokk’s sign, which doesn’t boast but quietly stands, our contributions don’t need fanfare. Legacy is what remains when all else fades—a quiet testament to endurance and resilience. So, if you find yourself wandering through Tallinn’s Old Town, pause at Maiasmokk Kohvik. Taste the layers of history in each delicacy, from marzipan sweets to traditional pastries, knowing you’re savoring something that has endured for generations. Perhaps, as you sit in this quiet testament to resilience, it will remind you of the legacies we all have the potential to create—subtle, enduring, and filled with substance. And as you take that last sip, consider this: will what you’re building still matter when your name is no longer attached to it? #twiboz

?? Unwavering Commitment, Growing Together—Uniting for a New Chapter: Saixun's Qiandao Lake Team-Building Review ?? On December 1st and 2nd, all Saixun employees gathered at the Qiandao Lake to jointly start a meaningful team-building journey. Surrounded by breathtaking natural landscapes, we immersed ourselves in the serenity of the forest, explored eco-tourism activities, and engaged in fun recreational challenges. ?? Saixun's original intention has never changed: we are always committed to creating value for customers with the best quality service and contributing to the global environmental protection cause. This team building made us understand more deeply that it is because of this unchanging belief that every Saixun person is full of strength and grows together. The beauty of Qiandao Lake was awe-inspiring, but our team's passion and enthusiasm truly shone. We’ll continue to innovate, collaborate, and write an exciting new chapter for SaiXun together as we move forward. ???? #Teamwork #Sustainability #SaiXunCulture #GrowingTogether #Culture #TeamBuilding

When you are nothing, you can be everything! This is a very simple exercise that I proposed during the last women retreat I lead in Poland. I asked the participants to introduce themselves without mentioning their job, their marital status or their hobbies. I invite you to do this exercise. It takes 5 min. The purpose is to realize how much we identify ourselves to our job and the different roles we play in our social circles. You might asked, so what? I love my job, I'm proud of being this or that. So of course it's part of my identity. The thing is these are roles and as such they are like clothes, we wear them for a certain period and after a while it's done. As much as we do not feel much attachment to a piece of cloth, we rather cling strongly to our working person identity. When we measure our self-worth with our different identities, the crisis comes when changes happen and we are left with a void. The more we hold on those identities the greater the suffering when we "loose" them. Looking at another aspect of it, when we strongly grasp on those identities, we miss many opportunities to experience something new, something different. When I left my corporate job, I had the direct experience of being nothing. It first felt awkward when you go somewhere and people ask what are you doing? Then I had no answer actually. Between "I left my job as..." and "I do nothing...", it did not give much for the other person to continue the conversation. Quite the opposite, it did bring some uneasiness in the air. This uneasiness was my best teacher at that time because it made me realize how much we identify ourselves and others with their occupation. And having this status of being nothing actually gave me a great sense of freedom. I also got me to really search deeper who I truly am. I know, sounds very cliché, but take a minute to contemplate this: if you are not your job you are not your hobbies you are not your marital status you are not your values you're not what you like and what you don't like Then WHO ARE YOU? We can debate for years, there are tons of books out there on the topic, I am more into the experiential side. If you would like to experience who you are truly, I invite you to join the half-day immersion that I organize within Power_In_Her with my friend Joanna Brassett on November 23rd. Awaken your inner Sage is an online event so you can attend from wherever you are. Click here to join https://bit.ly/48LBieX

Today is the Dussehra (????) Festival, and the leaves of the TREE APTA plant, i.e., the bidi leaf tree, botanical name Bauhinia Racemosa, are sometimes exchanged among family members and friends! Did you notice all Bauhinia racemosa leaves have two portions divided but always form an integrated, unique shape? And even more perfectly exemplifying a united but wonderfully diverse amalgamation, just as individual characters and experience in a team can meld together into something complete and beautiful. These leaves, delicate as they may seem, grow on a resilient and enduring tree. This is a beautiful reminder that strength often lies not in brilliance but in quiet perseverance. Like the tree and its leaves, we can coexist with kindness and strength, facing difficulties with grace and courage. Open hands or wings are linked in the two segments, composing the leaf to represent our welcoming views. A great way to remind ourselves of that is to be open-minded; doing so will allow us to keep learning and evolving. An open mind is essentially the same as a tree whose branches extend; they will not fundamentally change, but more opportunities for new growth support an optimistic yet realistic approach. The balanced shape of each leaf symbolizes balance, which is essential for trust in general. Like the leaf shape remains symmetrical, reliable, and consistent, so do people equally receive respect, becoming the steady roots in any community or team. The Bauhinia racemosa represents every virtue of teamwork, quiet strength, transparency, and durability necessary to create sustainable change for the good. As we celebrate Dussehra, I wish you a joyous festival filled with the essence of the Bauhinia racemosa. May you embody the virtues of teamwork, quiet strength, transparency, and durability in your life, creating sustainable change for the good. #Leadership #Teamwork #StrengthInDiversity #GrowthMindset #Resilience

Getting Lost, Finding Our Way—Together Sometimes, getting lost isn’t such a bad thing. It reminds us that even when we’re off track, we can always find our way back—with the right team by our side. Last Saturday, the IGL Coatings team kicked off the new year with an Amazing Race-style team-building event in Kuala Lumpur. KL might only be 30 minutes away for most of us, but this race showed us a whole new side of the city—hidden spots and unexpected gems we’d normally overlook. This wasn’t just about running around and having fun. We tied the race to our 4 core values at IGL Coatings : ?? Accountability: Taking ownership of challenges as a team. ?? Growth: Learning from every detour (there were ALOT for me!). ?? Sustainability: Exploring the city responsibly. ?? Trust & Respect: Working together, even with colleagues we don’t usually collaborate with. What stood out to me the most was seeing everyone come together. We put aside work differences and got into the spirit of teamwork—laughing, supporting each other, and finding solutions together. I even worked closely with colleagues I often debate with, and honestly, it reminded me how much we can accomplish when we focus on the bigger picture. In line with my reputation, my team got lost (again)! We somehow ended up riding every rail system in KL—MRT, LRT, KTM—before finally rejoining the race halfway through. Hopefully next year, I’ll finally break my streak of getting lost. Seriously hoping! After a long and stressful 2024, this day was exactly what we needed. Seeing everyone step away from work, laugh, and just enjoy the moment was so refreshing. It’s a reminder that team building isn’t just about fun—it’s about reconnecting, realigning, and celebrating what makes us stronger together. Here’s to more teamwork, growth, and adventures in 2025. And maybe fewer wrong turns for me! PS - I was assigned as the videographer in my team and was tasked to create the vlog. #TeamBuilding #CoreValues #IGLCoatings #Collaboration #Growth #LeadershipReflections #AmazingRaceKL
