About Last Friday From the IIBA? Brussels Chapter, Iris M. and I had the pleasure of joining the #PMFair2024 from PMI Belgium Chapter Thank you, ?? Anja Vandenbergh??♀?, for inviting us and for your warm welcome, filled with natural enthusiasm. Thank you, Piotr Zamisnii PMP, SCR, PRM, for patiently addressing all of our questions. We participated in several workshops and presentations, which resulted in many valuable lessons: 1. The Power of a Compliment: Giving a powerful compliment in a business context strengthens team connections, increases employee engagement, and fosters a positive company culture. This was proven during the workshop with Gina De Groote, which gave us a lot of energy. #www.complimentmoment.com 2. Workshop Facilitation: Workshops can be facilitated using various frameworks: LDJ (Lightning Decision Jam) format from Design Thinking, BDD (Behavior-Driven Development), DDD (Domain-Driven Design). Thank you, Elena Nikolskaya ??, for your guidance in the "Workshop about Workshops." 3. Practice taking decisions: By using clear models, thinking methodologies, and prioritizing tasks based on difficulty, you can streamline your approach and achieve better results. Learn to make disciplined decisions, handle risk and uncertainty, and work towards long-term goals. We can practice this in small steps, as Joachim Dehais demonstrated in his presentation. 4. Transforming a Company from Follower to Leader: Transforming a company involves establishing a clear structure of value streams and processes, connecting ICT, and involving the business. This forms a solid foundation for successful enterprise transformation. Jan Vervoort guided us through how Agile methodologies can create a best-fitting framework for such transformations. 5. Creating Self-Awareness: Self-awareness begins with taking responsibility for your feelings and actions, especially in the workplace. Shifting from "it's their fault" to "this is how I feel" and eventually to "what if I felt differently about this?" can help reframe your mindset for a more productive and authentic life. Thank you, Hans Vandenberghe, for providing actionable insights on soft-skills development.
Thank you for contributing the decisions discussion, which requires substantial business analysis ??
