Today, at Women of Innovation, we celebrate a serial entrepreneur and visionary who revolutionized the technology sector not just once, but twice! Here is how Jean Anne Booth set new standards for the digital world: Jean pursued a BSEE degree from the The University of Texas at Austin and an MSCE degree from the National Technical University to build a strong foundation for a career in the tech space. She spent nine years at AMD as a product engineer and product marketing manager. After a few years, she founded Luminary Micro Inc., the first to market ARM? Cortex?-M3-based microcontroller solutions. She recruited Luminary’s exec team and raised $46M in three funding rounds before Texas Instruments acquired the company in May 2009. Her next venture, UnaliWear, provides 24x7 discreet support for falls, medication reminders, and wandering without the need to connect with a smartphone. Here’s to Jean! #KeiretsuWomenOfInnovation?#WomenOfInnovation?#Healthtech?#Unaliwear
