I made my LinkedIn journey 99% better than in the past. It was not magic, but constant flux and practical tips. I got better at writing my LI posts & content. Enhanced LI reach by better graphics. These are the basic things, everyone knows about this. But what is something that creates a difference? ? It's sending personalized connections to your targeted audience. ?Not accepting connections of people working in similar industries. ?Skimming out the dead flux of people added in the past. It makes a huge difference. Everyone is adding anyone to get better reach. But they are not your clients. You have to find the right people to like your stuff. Try this out and create a win-win situation.??

I reached 4,000 followers on LinkedIn a few weeks ago ???? Here’s what I learned: When I started sharing my journey on LinkedIn, I wasn’t aiming to go viral or attract thousands of followers overnight. I wanted to connect with like-minded people: → Doctors and healthcare professionals → Investors → People who are on a similar path as mine Today, I’m grateful to say I’ve reached 4,000 followers. ? It wasn’t about chasing numbers or trying to impress the masses. ? It was about engaging with the right people. The ones who genuinely connect with my story. My experiences. And my lessons. It's not about how many people know you or follow you. I’ve learned that: ? Having 4,000 engaged and thoughtful connections matters more than having 100,000 who don’t align with my values or goals. So, if you’re out there thinking you need to go viral to make an impact… Remember: You don’t. ???? Be consistent with the message you share. ???? Connect with the people who resonate with it. Thanks to everyone who’s been part of this journey. I’m excited to keep learning and growing alongside you. Here’s to reaching the right people. One connection at a time ???? What’s your approach to build meaningful connections? Let’s talk below!

If you had told me last summer, I would be one of these people posting on LinkedIn regularly, I would not have believed you. Yet here we are. It's been exactly half a year since I started doing just that. What started out as an experiment got a bit out of hand, but it also gave me back so, so much. ???????? ?????????????????? ? I learned so many unique things from posts, the comment sections and private messages that I could not have learned anywhere else. ? People on LinkedIn are very kind. I do not know of any major online communities like this. I guess it helps that your boss is watching :) ? It's addictive. I have a love/hate relationship with social media. Consuming it, sharing posts, and getting engagement all make you want more. ? But it has been totally worth it! I made so many new "online friends" and valuable business connections. And I laughed a lot, people are hilarious. _______ Who knows what unexpected turns the future will bring next... I appreciate you all out here! Let's keep building each other up.

Sheri Jacobs, FASAE, CAE ?? You’re touching on an important aspect of LinkedIn engagement! Long posts can sometimes be overwhelming, even if the content is valuable. Here are some thoughts on balancing length and impact: ? ?????????????? ??????????????:?Aim for clarity and brevity. Posts around 150-200 words are often a sweet spot for holding attention. If you have a lot to say, consider breaking it into a series of shorter posts. ? ???????????????? ????????????: Capture attention with a compelling opening line or question. This can make people more inclined to read further. ? ???????????? ????????????:?Use bullet points, headers, or emojis to break up text and make it easier to scan. ? ???????????????????? ????????????????:?Focus on delivering key takeaways or actionable insights early in the post. If readers can quickly grasp the value, they’re more likely to engage. ? ???????????????? ?????? ????????????????????: Pay attention to engagement metrics and feedback. If shorter posts consistently perform better, it might be worth adjusting your approach. Ultimately, testing different lengths and formats will help determine what resonates best with your audience. ???? #LinkedInTips #ContentStrategy #Engagement #SocialMediaManagement

Are LinkedIn posts getting too long? When we write more than 200 words, are we expecting too much from our friends, colleagues, and followers? For those of you who frequently post on LinkedIn, what are your thoughts? Should we write a post and then cut it by 50% before posting? Sometimes it feels exhausting to read a long post, even when I want to because I know the author is sharing great insights.

I just got 3,000 followers from a popular post! Last week my LinkedIn post was shared over 60 times. And I didn't have to work hard to get followers because: 1. I shared genuine & helpful ideas. 2. I communicated with my connections. 3. I wrote each post helpful and knowledgeable for others.. This helped ME make real friends on LinkedIn, building a network that's not just big but real. (And I'm not going to STOP there.) Remember dear community one thing. Quality is better than = Quantity. Every comment, Every post, and every message they all build your BRAND. Followers may come and go, but true friends stay forever. P.S. Do you believe that being genuine is more important than numbers? Yes / No? Why? Let's Chat.

Stuck on what to post on LinkedIn? You’re asking the wrong question! I used to be there too. You open LinkedIn, ready to create something great—and boom—blank. Here’s a game-changer: Stop asking, “What will people like?” Instead, ask yourself, “What have people already liked?” ?? Think about real conversations you’ve had at work. What did someone say “Thanks, that helped!” to? ?? If it resonated in real life, it’ll resonate online. ?? Reverse your approach. Use what’s already been validated. Give it a go—and watch your content come to life :) Good luck

???? ?????? ?????????? ???????????????????? ??????'?? ???? ?????????????????? ???? ??????????????? ?????????? ??????????. When I first started on LinkedIn, I focused on posting. I seldom commented and even if I did, it was just a simple compliment. But then, what changed? With time I discovered that commenting on posts, and what others say in the comment section builds more connection than I have ever imagined. Someone messaged me earlier today. I never asked the question but I asked. I said : What attracted you to me? She said: It was your comment on my friend's post. That moment, I felt really happy. Now, every time I share my point of view, I am not only supporting others but also learning. Each comment teaches me more, strengthen my skill, and even widen my knowledge. Next time you comment, look for someone else's comment to reply to. Add your insight, ask a question or offer support. The result will surprise you believe me. Since I started this act, LinkedIn has become more than a platform. It's a community of insights and growth and I'm happy to be a part of it. What do you love about this post? Share your opinion.

The Sassy Tea, All About Honesty: Engagement Crisis, and Comments — I already talked about engaging more on the platform a little over a week ago, I think. I'm pleased to see that another creator has had such a beneficial experience thanks to commenting and engaging with posts from their network. I thought about why people would not engage on LinkedIn as much here as on other platforms. And here are my assumptions: 1 – In business, being highly visible can make you a target. Laying low and staying silent is a way to avoid unnecessary risks, and protect yourself. Safety first. 2 –?Preserving your reputation matters because your image shapes how people interact with you and the opportunities that come your way. Your engagement (or silence) plays a role in preserving that reputation. 3 –?If you display toxic behavior, whether aware of it or not, you might observe others from a distance to gain insights and make them seem like your own. Now before debunking a few of these assumptions, and providing my honest opinion, here’s what I gained from commenting: 1 – My ideas spread like wildfire, making me a legitimate reference in thought leadership and marketing, purely on a qualitative basis. 2 – Engaging is learning: by interacting with others, I refined my professional skills and made valuable knowledge my own. I did not expect that. But it happened. 3 –?It boosted my social capital and helped my mental health by giving me a sense of connection—a concept a Harvard University study calls "social fitness." So, why should you engage? 1 – To upskill: follow creators whose work you admire, and who deal with skills you want to develop. Reflect daily, and interact with their content. It’s free, but also real work, so consider supporting them financially too. Learning improves your career opportunities and income; sharing a little back is fair. It's like paying them a drink to thank them for helping you out. 2 – Visibility and engagement bring opportunity–cf. my last post on weak ties for more. 3 – Engaging won’t harm your reputation in healthy workplaces, and it will enhance your internal communication. Engaging here is like professional communication training on steroids: the more dynamic you are, the more you get. That's what stellar employees do. 4 – Yes, you may take hits, but they’ll steer you toward people who appreciate and support you. 5 – Finally, engaging helps you develop healthier behavior and express your authentic self—which is invaluable. That's it! ?? Remember, You are love, And therefore loved. ?? Thank you Rodiah Olafisoye. ???? #LetsCareTogether #MentalHealth #MentalWealth #SocialMedia #Communication #ContinuousLearning #CareerGrowth

The good thing about LinkedIn posts: If they are not ?good“ ? —> not many people will see them ?? If they are ?good“ ? —> they get a lot of reach ?? Stop overanalyzing. Start posting.
