CEPI welcomes World Health Organization’s announcement that the upsurge of mpox cases in the DRC and other countries in Africa constitutes a Public Health Emergency of International Concern. Supporting the response to the multi-country outbreak is a priority for CEPI and we are closely engaged with WHO, Africa CDC and other partners.
