Titled ‘Mainstreaming Water Resilience in Urban Development in Africa and Asia,’ AtkinsRéalis’ programme demonstrates how there are clear opportunities to deliver water projects which contribute to national priorities for #NetZero and #ClimateResilience. For instance, in #Kenya, the development of 12 Urban Economic Plans (UEP) identified future low carbon and climate resilience #InfrastructureProjects.? AtkinsRéalis has also delivered a series of climate change #RiskAssessments, which were used for projects in the #KyrgyzRepublic, #Nepal, #India and beyond. These have provided insights into how project design can be improved whilst making future projects more attractive for #MultilateralDevelopmentBanks and #PrivateSector finance.? AtkinsRéalis’ programme is creating ‘real, tangible, and clearly demonstrated benefits for the local community’.?
