Utilizing wood chips and rice hulls, these bricks capture and store carbon more affordably than traditional methods, costing just?100???????????????????????????????????????????????600 to $1,200. Plastic waste also often accumulates into massive garbage patches, further exacerbating the problem. In tackling this challenge, advancements in satellite remote sensing technology offer promising solutions. Platforms like Digital Earth Africa provide valuable tools for monitoring and managing plastic pollution in marine environments. Leveraging satellite imagery and data analytics, these initiatives enable the identification and tracking of plastic debris, facilitating more targeted and effective interventions to mitigate its impact.
