Official Atmos Docker Images Hosted on GitHub Container Registry. Cloud Posse is now publishing official Atmos Docker images on the GitHub Container Registry. These images bundle Atmos with several common tools that are often used together in an Atmos environment. They include: Terraform, OpenTofu, Helm, Kubectl, and Helm-diff. In addition to our big documentation update, these image should make it easier for users to get up and running with Atmos quickly. https://lnkd.in/g-Y-xsk7

Mohamed Hamdan Faris, a Cloud Development Engineer, shares his journey on scaling telemetry for applications. He started with Prometheus, but as the infrastructure scaled to handle terabytes and petabytes of data, he and the team pivoted to Thanos. However, due to performance issues and frequent restarts with Thanos, the team transitioned to VictoriaMetrics, which offered better scalability and storage consolidation.
