?????????????????? Check out our new 2-years project #ECHOFunds that aims: ?? to enhance knowledge on how the #EUCharter of #Fundamentalrights should be respected in #EU funded programmes (e.g. under ESF+, ERDF) in the 2021-27 period and ?? to strengthen #partnerships at national, regional and local levels for the better design, implementation and monitoring of EU funded projects, with special regard to the involvement of equality bodies, NHRIs and Ombusdman in #Austria ????, #Greece ???? and #Poland ????, along with other stakeholders. The project is coordinated by the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Fundamental and Human Rights Wladasch Katrin and we have excellent partners from Greece (Themistocles and Dimitris Tsatsos Foundation - Centre for European Constitutional Law) and Poland (Inpris Jaros?aw Gwizdak ) ?? The European Centre for Social Welfare Policy and Research team (Anette Scoppetta , Sabina Gjylsheni, Elif Naz Kayran and me) is leading the research workpackage, the evaluation of the project and plays a key role in designing and organising multi-stakeholder national workshops and working sessions in Austria. More information about the project is available at: https://lnkd.in/d2vnEgxq The project is co-financed by the European Commission under CERV.
?? How can we make sure that #EUFunds are used in a manner that is compatible with the #EUCharter of Fundamental Rights? Our new project #ECHOFunds tackles this question, bringing together experts and identifying promising practices. ?? The kick-off meeting took place in Vienna last week. Our colleagues Wladasch Katrin and Johanna Blimlinger were joined by Magdi Birtha and Sabina Gjylsheni from the European Centre for Social Welfare Policy and Research, by Jaros?aw Gwizdak from #INPRIS, and by Konstantina Tsilomeleki from the Themistocles and Dimitris Tsatsos Foundation - Centre for European Constitutional Law. ?? We look forward to implementing the project together with you as our partners! ??The project is co-financed by the European Commission under the #CERV programme. ?? 5 个月Dear Magdi, congrats for the new project, this is a super important topic! I wrote about the EU Charter, ESIF and CRPD interactions, on the case of funding for institutional care and human rights of persons with disabilities.
