We were all afraid of our coach. One monday morning after a sunday match (that we lost), he pointed at each and one of us, telling us how we didn't contribute. I just looked down, and let him do his thing. But my friend, didn't. After 60 minutes of yelling, my friend raised his hand and asked "Well, coach, in what way did you contribute?" Well, that was another 60 minutes of talking... By the way, my friend became the successful businessman. He was our David. Gary Neville, anyone would have challenged sir Alex in that way? ??
If you don’t have effective, risk-taking rainmakers (a sexier term than business development) the Finance Director won’t have any numbers to put in their Excel spreadsheet for the next board meeting ??. #salessolveeverything

Mohammad Shanawaz (GSFP) thoughts ?
Gary Neville I'd really like to talk to you about CoStar
A lot of people I know in BD would also back themselves over Becks on a Free-kick. Confidence and courage so important in generating sales, the important distinction between good and bad BD is the follow up and commitment to delivering on what you say you're capable of.

5 个月There are some people in BD who give the title a bad impression; one of laziness and happy to 'stay in the lane' rather than challenge themselves. However, there are others who really make a difference and take their responsibility, as being the introducers of the business to the prospect, very seriously. First impressions are vital to get right.
