How are we driving economic progress in Mali? By teaming up with local NGO REFOR, we’re empowering vulnerable youth, especially young girls in Segou, with vocational training. The Centre de Perfectionnement Technique de Ségou hosts and trains participants from RET's program, focusing on enhanced livelihoods, peaceful relations, and economic cooperation among communities. Diarra, the center's technical director, underlines the project's crucial role in training and empowering these individuals, preparing them to create job opportunities post-training. Germain, one of the participants, shares his journey: "I always dreamt of being a plumber. When I heard about this project, I didn't hesitate to join. Now, I'm learning plumbing and planning to start my workshop after the program. #humanitarian #development #peace #mali #EconomicEmpowerment #YouthDevelopment #CommunityTransformation #Empowerment #SustainableDevelopment #education #localization
