Plan International Plan International - MEESA (Middle East, Eastern and Southern Africa) provides #safeaccess to #nonformaleducation for conflict-affected children in North Darfur and South Kordofan. Following a needs assessment in five localities of both regions, the project aims to ensure that vulnerable children, especially IDPS, have access to #inclusiveprimaryeducation, respond to protection needs in school, and prevent children from dropping out of #education. Working in collaboration with local partners, the #EducationinEmergencies project is constructing temporary learning spaces, improving existing school facilities, distributing learning material, and training teachers on providing education in an emergency. #Sudan #SudanCrisis #EducationInEmergencies

#Sudan | On European Commission fundings, Expertise France is resuming the activities of the programme EQUIP 2 to support the Sudanese education sector. ?? This project addresses major education challenges in Sudan through addressing?the?country's?humanitarian crisis'?urgent needs.? ? ??Expertise France’s action features four key sections:? ?-??Education in Emergencies' teacher training -??Strengthening in-service teacher training -??Strengthening pre-service?teacher training -??Promoting diversity in the teaching profession ? ??An online self-training platform will?also be developed, ensuring access to educational resources for all?despite the circumstances. ? ?By focusing on training teachers in education in emergencies, strengthening continuing and initial teachers'?capacity, and promoting diversity in teaching professions, Expertise France?addresses in a holistic manner?the pressing needs of the Sudanese education sector. #SudanConference

Teaching at the right level (TaRL) has proven to work in many African countries when it comes to foundational learning. What is the TARL approach? It is a method of teaching that groups children by learning level rather than age or grade, allowing for targeted instruction. TaRL has been implemented in The Gambia, Botswana, Cote d’Ivoire, Madagascar, Nigeria, Zambia, Kenya, Mozambique, Tanzania, Uganda, and Ghana. #ACBAR’s Program Team - SHAPE TPP -?will be conducting a Proposal Writing Training for 61 of its NGO partners, comprising of Cohort 1 and Cohort 2 organizations, during the last week of October. These trainings will be held in two batches, from 21 – 23 and from 29 – 31.
