Here’s how I manage different levels of confidence: 1. Low Confidence Level: When uncertainty looms, it’s prudent to explore multiple alternatives. Develop several designs and conduct trials to discover the best solution. However, stay mindful of project timelines and costs—balance exploration with efficiency. 2. Mid Confidence Level: With moderate confidence, focus on feature validation. Create a few design variations and test them to optimize the concept. This allows for adjustments based on real-world performance, ensuring the design meets expectations. 3. High Confidence Level: When you’re highly confident in your design, you might not need alternative designs. Trust your experience and skills, but it’s wise to have a backup plan in case the design doesn’t perform exactly as intended. A well-thought-out contingency can save time and resources if unexpected issues arise.
