Should Porsche EV’s be allowed to spec bronze wheels..? I’m yet to see a Macan EV without bronze wheels..! Has Porsche delivered any to the U.K yet does anyone know ??. I’m not sure an EV should be allowed to have Bronze as an option, in my eyes bronze wheels are for “go fast with drama” cars, cars with engines, cars with passion. Agree? Ferrari is going electric! Super exciting! Relatively soon, electric super & hyper cars will completely takeover their categories. Maintenance time & expense is typically a massive issue with these types of gas cars, especially in Ferrari’s circumstance historically. Electrics don’t have the massive maintenance issues of other super & hyper cars….so you will see these exotic vehicle categories go electric “super fast” compared to other gas/diesel vehicle categories!

???? The Porsche P1: The Pioneer of Electric Cars! ???? Did you know that Porsche's journey with electric vehicles started over 120 years ago? Introducing the Porsche P1, the first electric car designed by Ferdinand Porsche in 1898! The P1, officially known as the "Egger-Lohner electric vehicle, C.2 Phaeton model," was an engineering marvel of its time. The electric motor can produce an output of 3 hp (2.2 kW) at 350 rpm and, for short periods of time, up to 5 hp (3.7 kW) with a top speed of 35 km/h (22 mph) by overcharging it. The car could be driven for three to five hours with a range of approximately 49 mi (79 km). The car uses a complicated series of gears: it is driven by using a 12-speed controller where six are dedicated to forward gears, two for reverse and four to brake the car. They used Tudor batteries. Tudor is a lead-acid battery brand founded by Henri Tudor in 1890 and is now owned by Exide Technologies. This groundbreaking vehicle even triumphed in an early electric car race in 1899, showcasing its impressive range and reliability. On September 28, 1899, Porsche drove a C.2 that was entered in the Berlin road race, where it won the gold medal and crossed the finish line 18 minutes before the second car. It also came out on top in the efficiency test, where it was recorded as the lowest energy consumption vehicle in urban traffic.
