We’re empowering youth through agricultural training sessions in collaboration with Regional Directorates of Agriculture, Water and Forests, and Livestock Production and Industry. These sessions, in partnership with local NGO ALPHALOG, have reached 768 young individuals. Eight plots are dedicated to pedagogical training on innovative farming techniques. Trainees compare good agricultural practice with traditional methods. "Before the project, we used ancestral practices, but now, with new techniques taught through this project, we've noticed our mistakes, significantly affecting yields. New methods like seed selection, soil preparation, avoiding chemicals, and using biopesticides have improved our rainfed and vegetable farming," says Soumaila Doucoure, a beneficiary in Sakoiba. #humanitarian #development #peace #mali #education #training #Empowerment #SustainableDevelopment #farming
