We need more conversations, especially those meaningful and empowering ones. A lot of positive things will emerge when we engage in those conversations. In our newly started Certified Professional Coach virtual public program November 2024 Cohort, we have Captain Shan Moorthi PhD, and Sze Chieng Ho, IAC-MP? to facilitate the learning sessions through meaningful conversations and experiential activities. The conversations about 'HOW' to be a better human (regardless of positions or titles) through practicing coaching were intriguing and engaging when everyone participated to share their experiences of developing themselves and others to become leaders. Coaching is more than just attaining achievements, it is shaping the being of individuals to be congruent, establishing a genuine and authentic relationship with people around us. Practicing coaching?behaviors?help individuals to transform oneself into a better being, ultimately benefiting people around us with the ripple effect created and began from us. After the first two days, we are confident that they are ready to embark on the coaching journey and craft their own paths and milestones. I used to write about technology at one point - Node By Numbers was a flashback as I dug into this. Now that I've pivoted, I've been diving into the latest insights from the 2023 report on "Defining New Coaching Cultures". This report is by the Human Capital Institute (HCI) and the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and there's some compelling stuff I'm seeing!
