Every thought why you need a second car? Whe my partner and I got together I had a campervan and she had a car. We had kids and then the campervan was not practical - I had designed it for a single person! It could not carry 2 kids safely - we sold it - boo! BUT we had Lauras car - but that was too small. Therefore bought a SEAT Leon Estate, this transitioned into a Skoda Enyaq. Along the way Lauras car when to the scrap as it was old and breaking down all the time! Did we need a second car? Just recently we have been feeling the pinch - shuffling kids around to clubs etc. #enterprisecarclub #skoda #CarClub #SustainableLiving #CarbonFootprint Enterprise ?koda Auto
Never owned a second car; never had to. Even after moving out of the city, every job has been an easy commute by train. Every car is kept on the road until it's no longer viable to repair it.
This is where being based in a city is a blessing - I've never had a car but for when I need one I can easily access a pay-by-the-minute zip car - just needs to be a country wide version!
In Iceland I think the equivalent exists with electric cars. Could car users lean on the existing Car Clubs, like this one?
My eldest is about to turn 17. Somehow looks like we're going to have to shift from two to three!

7 个月We've been single car for more than 2 years- but we do borrow my mums prob 3 times a week max. I wish there were better options to share and borrow cars, so many sit idle all day and you usually only need them occasionally. This has prevented us needing a 2nd car so far....
