At Fuorisalone 2024, the courtyard of Palazzo Litta was transformed by 'Straordinaria,' an installation that floated like clouds, crafted by the innovative Japanese design studio we+. This ethereal creation, sponsored by the Ermanno Casoli Foundation, embodied the lightness of air and the warmth of sunlight, weaving these natural elements into a sensory journey through color and form. The installation's success lay in its ability to merge the physical with the ephemeral, utilizing lightweight, dynamic materials that engaged visitors in a deep, intimate dialogue with the art. Toshiya Hayashi and Hokuto Ando of we+ crafted an environment where nature, beauty, and art converged, offering a unique sensory experience amidst one of Milan’s most iconic settings. 10 个月This is breathtaking Richard Mulhern, LEED AP you always bring the best inspiration! ‘Stradonaria’ is a stroke of brilliance — ?? It’s impressive how the installation captures both the delicacy of air and the vibrance of sunlight. Hayashi and Ando have certainly set the bar high for what we can expect from urban art installations. How do you see this influencing future design trends in public spaces?
