On to the next chapter.. My time at Pezesha has been a growth journey for nearly 2 years. This growth has manifested itself in being trusted to run small to big projects and new products/platforms and seeing Pezesha move from 1.0 to 2.0 platform as the main UI/UX designer I was the centre of this transition from design to launch. I've learned a ton about bouncing back from failures and quickly adapting to make products that users love. One thing I've loved about my journey at Pezesha is how you are given the platform to challenge yourself outside your comfort zone with exciting projects. I've gotten to wear different hats - playing around as a #UXdesigner, getting my hands dirty as a #developer, and dabbling in #productmanagement. The teamwork and execution drive at Pezesha has made it such a cool place to be. Shoutout to Hilda Moraa, who's been more than just a CEO to me - she's been a mentor and a friend. She saw something in me and let me run with it, even when I stumbled. Her approach of letting us fail fast and learn has been a real game-changer and I now take that with me in my next chapter to do better and be better as she always says “Pezesha is to give you the platform to find your purpose, and when you find it, go and create a multiplier effect for other” Leaving Pezesha isn't about saying goodbye; it's about diving into new adventures and seeing life from different angles. What a year it's been at Versori! Looking back on 2024 we've accomplished so much. Moving from day to day it can sometimes feel like you're not moving as quick as you'd like but stepping back and looking at things as a whole tells a different story. ? We've taken our Gen AI to a new level and 2025 is shaping up to be huge! ?? UI/UX Design is on a mission to take Versori to new heights ?? Platform infrastructure is rock solid ?? Features and upgrades shipping like there's no tomorrow. ?? Secured some great partnerships On a personal note; taking the chance and stepping into the Head of Product role and been exciting and thrown up new challenges. Can't wait to hone the craft in the next year and maybe, just maybe put down the developer hat a little more. But that's start-ups right, we need to wear multiple hats?! Oh and can't forget Will Jackson and myself showing our faces in our weekly FBF videos. We can't wait to continue with these in the new year. Excited to share that I've completed Task 1 assigned by Cognifyz Technologies! Level 1: Beginner Task 1: Simple Element Design Objective : Introduce basic element design principles. Steps : 1. Choose a basic UI element (e.g., button, card): Identify a fundamental UI element that you want to design, keeping it simple for the beginner level. 2. Design a simple version with a color and a label: (a) Using design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, create a basic version of the chosen UI element. (b) Apply a color scheme and add a label or text to the element. (c) Focus on maintaining simplicity and clarity in your design.
