As a trainee doctor, your main focus should be on learning how to save lives and make a difference in the world. But sadly, a recent incident in Kolkata has reminded us that doctors are not immune to violence and danger. A trainee doctor on duty was brutally raped and murdered in Kolkata, sending shockwaves through the medical community. It is heart breaking to think that someone who has dedicated their life to helping others could meet such a tragic end. This incident serves as a stark reminder that our protectors need protection too. Doctors should not have to worry about their own safety while they are busy saving lives. We must do everything in our power to ensure that they can do their jobs without fear of violence or harm. It is crucial that hospitals and medical facilities provide a safe work environment for all their staff, including trainee doctors. Security measures should be in place of such horrific incidents from happening again. And as a society, we must stand up against violance and advocate for the safety of our health care workers. #linkdin #news #awareness

What if a healthcare management professional without a medical background wants to learn about quality management ? about supply chain management ? medical administration ? after passing out he’ll obviously look for big names in the market to provide him with a headstart in the industry and help him/her kickstart their professional journey. Students like us really want to be there help out learn about the industry and get practical exposure, and career advices from the industry community! Some of us do not have the medical degree but it does not mean we cannot take up the responsibilities of that role, with proper guidance and equal remuneration we can be groomed into a class one professionals who can and do keep the power to lead and be face of your organisation. But unfortunately when we ask for a chance, we are either mistreated or taken advantage by extra workload which do not have justifying remuneration opportunities, just because we do not possess enough knowledge or experience or medical skills to make up for the difference between a person with medical degrees who’s not at all interested in the position or job role. Mumbai is prime example of existence of such healthcare systems or institutions who do not believe in giving young professionals like us a chance to shine! Honestly disappointed in this system. I am a professional who is been struggling to find the right opportunity but through such difficult circumstances it seems that the hurdles are not going to stop until I think of switching industries. #HealthcareJobs #MumbaiJobs #HealthcareManagement #HospitalAdministration #HealthcareOperations #MumbaiHealthcare #HealthcareProfessionals #OperationsManagement #ProgramCoordinator #HealthcareIndustry #HiringInMumbai #HealthcareCareers #realitycheck

It is indeed a very sad state of affairs. Doctors are meant to be self employed. We are basically enterpreuners and leaders.Fresh graduates need not always choose NEET for clinical specialisation. Unemployment rates among fresh MBBS graduates is alarmingly high. Recently 1100 candidates applied for 40 temporary posts for Junior Resident in AIIMS Bilaspur. Mr Prime Minister in his 15th August speech talked about creating 75,000 more seats. But is it really required? Patients need doctors and doctors need jobs. But where are the jobs in government sector? Starting your own set up in the initial part of your career is really difficult especially when you need to learn the art of medicine working in good hospitals and you are also not sure where you would want to settle down eventually. Also, not everyone has the money to invest in starting his or her own setup. If the things continue the same way, MBBS graduates will face the same trouble as the BDS graduates are facing now. #medicine #doctors #aiims #medical #vacancy #
