?? Running a makerspace is no small task. You're trying to unleash creativity, and enable your students to do more than even they think is possible. ?? Along with that, you're managing tools and equipment, teaching students how to handle them safely, and making decisions about program growth and finances. There are some parts of the makerspace ecosystem we can't help you with, but one place we CAN help is a comprehensive system for managing 3D printing. ? It's surprising in this day and age to find some people are still battling along with SD cards or USBs. ?? When you take it online with software like #3DPrinterOS, you can suddenly scale your program without scaling your admin time and costs. Good 3D printing software should have live monitoring. You should be able to see what's happening from your desk - and your students should be able to see how their print is going even from home, even from vacation. It should be a slam dunk to manage your workflows and 3D print queues. Create user groups that allow advanced students to work autonomously, while restricting access a little for newbies.
