This post hits home for me. Like you, I lived a version of that Orwellian nightmare: having to use a card catalog to look up information and write things down. It's hard to believe how far we have come in the last twenty years. Gratitude as a weapon!!!! I've never thought about using it in that way, but you better believe that I will start. The problem is the huge amount of information that's available. People don't know where to start. And they don't even want to figure it out. Because it hurts and it's easier to spend your free time on YouTube and Netflix, or on your phone scrolling Instagram or TikTok ??

12 个月I love this post! We had our first computer in 2004/05 as far as I can remember. In it, there was no internet, and when we got it, it was very restrictive, slow and expensive. As for cellphones too, I got it much later than most kids. I’m hindsight I’m actually happy about it because I got to spend time reading, in my own company. It’s important to appreciate what we have, Quy!
