We’re calling for more funding and public support to encourage CleanTech deployment! With innovation and start-ups, we can strengthen our energy security. ?? At the forefront of this year's Munich Security Conference 2024, cleantech emerged as a key discussion point, underscoring the critical need for sustainable solutions in the face of evolving energy challenges. Following the discussions led by Ann Mettler, it's clear that CleanTech is crucial to securing Europe's energy and resilience. Philip Kessler from Turn2X highlights the need for regulations to keep up with start-up innovation. We are proud to support start-ups from our ecosystem that are pushing towards a net zero world, even in challenging times. Shout out to some of the climate tech innovators like Stephan Herrmann from Reverion, phelas, and STABL Energy. #MSC2024 #cleantech #energysecurity I TUM Venture Labs I TechFounders I Sylvia Stojilkovic I Philipp Gerbert ?? Indeed, more funding and public support are brilliant, but so are motherhood and applepie ??! Arguable the core lever is to empower the NextGen to develop scalable solutions ?? - thanks UnternehmerTUM for driving this. And perhaps to use public funds in a smarter way (while minimizing regulatory burden/constraints). We are running out of funds fast and we have not even started to concurrently build resilience ?? (food security; defense of an inclusive, free society, to just name a few...). It will require all hands on board and lots of positive energy! TUM Venture Labs
Word ?? Innovation is key to conquering current and future energy challenges! ?? We stand with the call for increased support for CleanTech and applaud start-ups such as our program alumni Reverion, phelas, STABL Energy, Voltfang, Turn2X, and encentive GmbH for driving towards a net-zero world. ??
