Gusto is an online platform that offers payroll and benefits. We call ourselves as a people platform and we do anything and everything with employee and employee relationship. Gusta has been elected as best of the best workplaces last few years and also it is consistently in Fortune 50 companies for last three years. Gusto so far has managed their subscription and billing and invoicing platform with a home grown engineering system. But however, we have overgrown our customers. We have grown organically, we have grown inorganically that actually needed a lot of additional capabilities that we need to inbuilt in the system. As we are scaling exponentially year on year, we thought we have to consolidate all these needs into one single building platform which we finalized as Zora and Synthesis is the implementation partner. We implemented this project for us. The most important thing that we considered when we evaluated partners, do they have the right skill set to understand our business needs? Do they have a technical architecture references they can consolidate multi systems into one consolidated system? Are they understanding that time bound that we have to implement this on time so that we deliver value to our customers on time. What we are expecting from the professional system integrator is to come and tell us what we don't know and how to actually. All those problems. So that brings a lot of experience implementing with the similar crimes and also a lot of experience in the subject matter expert and understanding the 360?? view of the problem rather than just delivering for one or two requirements without understanding the entire holistic approach of it. And all these checkboxes are checked for our system integrator synthesis and we went ahead with them with a one year long implementation which I consider as a massive success. It's pretty easy working with synthesis. Partners are the system integrators because we are a team who are very cross functional. We have a team members from payment engineering who are completely focused on engineering effects. We have a development team only solving a development issue and also we have functional SMS as a system integrator. Synthesis understood each role and responsibility and they were leading the project in a way that they are not adhering only one or two needs of a specific team but the overall project charter and overall project. Scope is taken into account. Prior to Zora implementation we used to do everything internally that used to take a lot of lead time for development, stability and post production work. Synthesis and Zora helped us to give the best of the breed technology solutions so that we ship our products faster and generate our revenue faster. We went live on Zora then we went and entered into a contract immediately with the synthesis on the post production support. The reason being we have multiple use. Places that are coming on our way whether bringing the new products onto the Zora platform or enhancing the existing products with the price changes which will increase the revenue. So I think they're subject matter expert is very valuable because not all products are similar and not all products recognize revenue according to the GAP standards. So we want their expertise to make sure we stay compliant and adhering to all GAP principles and accounting principles. I would recommend synthesis to any client, big, medium or small. Because of the longevity of their domain in this space, especially implementing Zora or any billing system. So from my experience, what makes synthesis different is the ownership mentality which is one of our values when we actually deliver product to customers. I think that's when it's a long journey and a successful journey. Not only that they have subject matter experts functionally and technically they can gel really easily with the product engineering and IT teams to deliver the. Product faster and scalable.
