【InsureTech Connect Asia Roadshow】Cyberport Showcases Innovative Insurtech Solutions As Hong Kong's largest FinTech community, Cyberport has been committed to driving the development of Insurtech. Recently, Cyberport participated in the "InsureTech Connect Asia Roadshow - Hong Kong" as a supporting partner, engaging in discussions with entrepreneurs, insurance industry leaders, and investors to exchange the latest trends in Insurtech. During the event, four Cyberport community companies successfully made it to the finalists of the "ITC Asia Awards (Hong Kong)". These companies were Anlan Technology, MixCare Health, OK Care, and YoujiVest Technology. Ultimately, MixCare Health won the award, securing a free start-up exhibition booth and a demo session, and will compete for the ultimate ITC Asia Award to be held in Singapore in June of this year. The SIDS Global Business Network Forum 2024 will be convened on 25-26 May 2024 in Antigua & Barbuda, ahead of the Fourth International Conference on SIDS. This provides a unique opportunity to hear from the private sector on their priorities and recommendations for the new SIDS agenda. As part of the preparatory process of the SIDS-GBN Forum 2024, OHRLLS is organizing a series of preparatory webinars and consultations to gather stakeholders to discuss priorities and share best practices of public-private partnerships that contribute to the sustainable development of SIDS and can be showcased at the SIDS4 Conference. ? Webinar 3: ‘Small Islands, Big Ideas: Digitalization, Technology & Innovation in Small Island Developing States’ The third webinar seeks to explore digitalization, innovation, and technology within SIDS. As the world becomes more interconnected and digitally dependent, SIDS are positioned to harness the power of technology and services to overcome challenges and drive sustainable development. The webinar will explore the role of public-private partnerships in this process, focusing on the following areas: Digital Services: Digitization is changing the way we buy and sell. The session will look at how SIDS can tap into digital services such as eCommerce and FinTech and how public-private partnerships can support this process. Innovation Ecosystems: Fostering innovation is vital for progress. The webinar will explore the development of innovation ecosystems that encourage entrepreneurial spirit and technological advancements and the role of public-private partnerships. This project is all about Empowering Deep Tech Innovators Across Europe! ?? ? ?? Access+ project is part of the EIC Ecosystem Partnership, aimed at promoting the services offered by EIC Partners. Our goal is to bring more value to companies, helping?them?to innovate by accessing to high-quality services at EU level. The objective of Access+ is to reinforce the competitiveness of deep tech European innovators, specifically EIC Awardees and Seal of Excellence holders. We will achieve this by providing co-funded tailored services through the EIC Service Catalogue, helping innovators address their unique scaling challenges. ? Thanks to the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany London., Germany Trade & Invest, SPRIND - Bundesagentur für Sprunginnovationen and DE:Hub Ecosystems Germany for the invitation to the Showcase and Panel discussion of the #German innovation ecosystem. With the welcome words from Ambassador Miguel Berger, the panel conversation immersed us into the cross pollination opportunities for #UK and #international technology #startups and #emerging talent to find opportunities in the #tech descentralization stategy of the #German government. The conversation was centred on the current strategy facilitating #UK companies to find the right partners in #Germany and #Germany reaching out to strategic partners internationally.
