As we continue our journey in promoting purpose-driven business practices across Asia, The Purpose Business (TPB) is thrilled to share the success of our recent webinar, “Purpose in Action: Navigating the Journey to Organisational Purpose”. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us – your participation made this event a truly global affair. We are incredibly grateful to our esteemed speakers – Andy Brown, Dr Victoria Hurth, and Koh Ching Ching – for their grounded and practical insights. Their contributions made for an insightful and enriching discussion. Our key takeaways from the event are: Governance as a Catalyst: Moving from a business-as-usual mindset to a purpose-driven approach requires a fundamental shift in governance. This shift is essential for transitioning from profit maximisation to prioritising purpose. The Power of Internal Engagement: The stories we share internally can be powerful engines of transformation. Building a culture of purpose starts with each stakeholder sharing their journey of purpose activation. Everyone’s Purpose Journey: We recognise that everyone is at a different stage of their purpose journey, from articulation to deep embedding. Your stories are an inspiration to our growing global cohort, facing complex realities with renewed hope. The TPB team cannot wait to facilitate more of these meaningful conversations throughout the year. Stay tuned! Hey, Purpose tribe! Thank you to all of you who came to our new year opener, the Purpose in Action webinar. The grounded & practical insights from our inspiring speakers Andy Brown Dr Victoria Hurth & Koh Ching Ching were perfectly met by our very open and engaged audience who joined us at sundown in Australia as well as sunrise and earlier- from The UK, South Africa and The USA. I personally am struck by the 3 key takeaways: - Governance is key to the mindset shift away from business as usual (profit maximisation at all costs) to being more purpose- driven - Internal engagement and culture are proven engines of transformation - and they start from the stories each and every single stakeholder tells , of their own purpose activation - Everyone is already on a purpose journey - be it from articulation, to activation, to deep embedding - and we want to keep hearing about it , as you now are part of the increasing global tribe that bring hope to the complex realities we face. You have inspired me & my team The Purpose Business to drive even more of these conversations the rest of the year and we cannot wait to see you again. 1 年Thank you Patricia Dwyer and The Purpose Business for organizing and facilitating such an insightful panel! Dr Victoria Hurth's remark that grasping what good governance is, is critical to implementing purpose was definitely food for thought for me!
