Dear colleagues and friends, ? I would like to share you that I have left SPORTFIVE with the end of last year. With more than six years exploring partnerships sales, building relationships between brands and rights holders in the esports world and forming many connections to new partners, colleagues and contacts within the gaming industry I am unbelievable happy about all the stuff we have achieved throughout this journey. Leaving a company isn’t an easy decision but, as always, it comes with a smile and a hint of sadness. The smile tells me that it was time to move on and I am unbelievable hyped for what is ahead! The hint of sadness reminds me of everything we achieved over the past six years. With around 3 years at Razer and 3 at Riot, the past 6 years at Sportfive have been the longest stop I have had so far in my career. I learned a lot from all the different projects we worked on. Building up the LEC commercialization with the core team of Alban Dechelotte, Nicolas Popoff, Romain Bigeard, Moritz Altmann, Thomas Ottl and Paul M?nnekes, successfully setting up partnerships with Sportfive colleagues from all over the world or simply being part of the growth of the Sportfive Esports crew from 5 to nearly 100 people, including the parallel?growth of build a rocket, was an incredible journey. It is hard to pick specific moments from this journey without forgetting about others. I am unbelievable grateful for the opportunity and especially space Moritz Altmann and Eike Gyllensv?rd gave me to progress within the structure, lead the European Sales Team, travel around the world and create quite a bunch of partnerships. Special thanks go to my wingman Goose aka Paul M?nnekes for enduring my stubbornness, last minute requests and overall quite special work relationship ?? With nearly a hundred deals in our ecosystem I closed on my own and many more I supported within our structure I am about to set sail to my new adventures. I can just say thank you to everyone it has been a blast! Thank you for letting me observe, learn, adapt, grow, test, execute, fail, win and teach… Thank you. ?
