The National Coordinator of ACPEJ (a DRC-based organization working to de-mobilize combatants and fighting against: the enlistment of children and sexual and gender-based violence) recently visited RET's National Office in Bujumbura, Burundi and was warmly welcomed by RET's Country Director. Mr. Muhindo Kamate Prix D'Achat, the founder of ACPEJ and a former combatant demobilized by RET in DRC, now stands as a passionate advocate for peace under a Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) project. He is also a youth ambassador, a current partner of RET, and working towards sustainable food, nutrition, and peaceful co-existence in North Kivu and Ituri.
