Instead of having a panel event to promote “Diversity awareness”. Try this instead: 1.?Start an Accountability Group? 2. Have a How To Session? 3. Hold a Coaching Clinic? 4. Stage Mock Interviews 5. Start a Book Club These things build knowledge, expertise and understanding over time. Too many panel events are “one and done” and aren’t effective in building careers. PS. You can do most of this without help from external consultants. ?? Share this with someone who needs to hear this!

I did a lot of work on recruitment diversity training when I worked at Arts Council England; it was amazing how unaware people are of their biases until challenged on the spot.
