?? We are honored to announce that IOM Belgium & Luxembourg received the 2023 IOM Innovation Awards in the category of Regular Pathways for our Displaced Talent for Europe (DT4E) project! The award was presented by IOM's Director General Amy Pope to our Chief of Mission Marise Habib. ?? DT4E is an innovative initiative funded by the European Union that enables displaced individuals in Jordan and Lebanon to connect with employers in Belgium, Ireland, Portugal, and the UK. ?? For displaced talent mobility and regular pathways to truly work, participatory whole-of-society approaches and partnerships are crucial. Without our partners, Talent Beyond Boundaries, Fedasil, ACM and Fragomen, as well as multiple governmental bodies, employers, sector federations, and civil society, this would not have been possible. ?? This Award not only underscores DT4E's potential and impact, but also highlights the pressing need for efficient and accessible labour pathways, ethical recruitment practices, and robust partnerships. As we celebrate this milestone, we renew our commitment to scale up efforts and partnerships on complementary pathways to the benefit of migrants and communities. #DT4E #Labourmobility #regularpathways
