PLANET GOVERNANCE: The Governance of Planet Earth If the unfolding events of 2023 have revealed anything it is that the ongoing deterioration of governance practices at both national and international levels is exposing our planet and its inhabitants to an increased risk of self-destruction. This goes beyond the global dangers associated with climate change. Continued weaknesses and deficiencies in how we currently govern?our planet is putting our collective future in jeopardy. Given the existential dangers currently manifesting themselves it is now incumbent on our world leaders to view this planet of ours in terms of a single interconnected entity which needs to be governed accordingly (before it is too late). 1 年Sean, it is often forgotten that the interconnectedness must embrace everything potentially impacting stakeholder needs, expectations, and aspirations. This inevitably must happen on the level of consciousness and not within clauses of standards or regulations. Raising collective consciousness and holistic thinking is essential to create holistic integrated behaviour.
