That’s a wrap for ADAS & Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo Stuttgart! The Leo Drive team had an excellent show this year in Stuttgart! We were at the show jointly with the Autoware Foundation, and our proposition to develop autonomous solutions using the #opensource software was very intriguing for many visitors. We showcased our recent brand robione, at the booth. In this partnership arrangement, Robeff Technology builds various vehicle platforms based on their EV skateboard chassis, and Leo Drive develops the #autonomousdriving software based on the #Autoware project. The factory floor robot that was demonstrated at the booth was designed, manufactured and assembled in only two months. This showed our agility in the development of our hardware solutions. We’re currently in talks with large organizations to put the robione factory floor robot into good use (for both indoor and outdoor applications). Also, an early prototype of our autonomous delivery vehicle is continuously being tested at Yildiz Technical University. Give us a call if you’d like to have a demo! We also gave a thorough walkthrough of our recent work with ANADOLU ISUZU, where we co-created an autonomous bus platform based on Anadolu Isuzu’s 8-meter electric bus, Novociti Volt. Our demo video was very well received and got the attention of some OEMs that are about to start their autonomous journey. Leo Drive works with OEMs to enable them to get into the AV space cost-efficiently and quickly. Finally, we inaugurated the second variant of our Autonomy Essentials Kit product. This is a product we offer as COTS as possible to lower the entry barriers to the AV market. Leo Drive works with any company that would like to test autonomous driving on their platform to perform concept validation to create a tangible business case to prevent unforeseeable risks that may hinder their investment in the AV space going forward (if they can not understand what autonomy is, how could they invest?) Last but not least, the Leo Drive team was involved in Autoware Foundation activities during the show. Autoware Open AD Kit WG co-chair O?uz Ka?an ?ztürk explained to our visitors about the Open AD Kit demos at the booth. And Leo Drive team orchestrated the first-ever Autoware Europe activities on the show's first day. We will be at the show next year as well.
