Please help us welcome Aitana Robinson, a Project Management Intern at WORLDiscoveries and current Western Law student! Aitana is also a graduate of Western University, earning a Master’s of Media in Journalism and Communications (MMJC) degree. As the newest member of the WORLDiscoveries team, Aitana gets to do a little bit of everything, from assisting the Programs Team with educational programming, to writing memos that explain to researchers the important legal aspects of technology transfer, to working with the Agreements Advisor to get a better understanding of the commercialization and patenting process. When asked what she likes best about working at WORLDiscoveries, Aitana replied, “WORLDiscoveries is at the edge of innovation. I love being part of the team that helps researchers expand their work from the lab setting to real-world solutions in the marketplace.
