Just a just a stones throw away from DC Joining me here today on this Expo floor is Miss Michelle Moran. She's a Senior Vice President of Sales, Product and Marketing of Involta. Michelle, welcome, welcome to JSA TV. Thank you so much. It's great to be here. Oh, we are so excited to have you and it's such a big day. We have so much to talk about. We do. Yeah. First of all, congratulations is in order. Miss Michelle has been named Top 25 women in Technology for 2023 by Mission Critical magazine, which is huge. I mean a lot of women, more women than ever, thankfully. And Top 25 is a huge accomplishment and so, so well earned. Can you share a little bit about what this incredible recognition has has really meant to you and how it plays a role in for in Volta? Absolutely. So Top 25. Women, I never imagined that I would be named on a list like this. However, I started over 30 years ago in this industry and so many times I've been the only meat female at the table. And when I'm asked why did you stick with it? It's because I know we make a difference. We bring a different perspective to the table all day, every day. And I wanted to forge ahead and make sure that we were providing the best for our clients and the best for our employees along the way. Because. As a leader in the industry and in my own company now within Volta, I feel like we need to provide for our employees, we need to provide for our clients and women matter. We look at it a little bit different from a creative perspective and you know making that impact. So I'd love to see more women involved in technology and we do as well and you are such a role model. So thank you. Keep on, keep it on because we are so excited watching you as as you continue to take over. We know you also serve at in Volta a wide variety of industries across several markets throughout the country. So in Volta guys, if you don't know yet, you definitely need to check out in Volta, what are the some of the trends that you're seeing related to the needs of enterprise in their hybrid IT and cloud strategies? Really good questions. So out there, there are a lot of choices and what we focus on are three verticals, healthcare, manufacturing and finance. And we're providing infrastructure for these clients. From a trend perspective, we're seeing that clients need more help figuring out what to do, figuring out where their workload should sit based on where they are today, but also positioning to take. Advantage of new technologies emerging over the course of time, as long as their business is ready and they can actually deliver the appropriate outcome, fiscally responsible and at the same time strategically delivering to their business. So it's a lot of fun to be able to provide services that make a doctor's life easier, so they can serve the patient and give them a better experience, as an example. Or a manufacturer set it up so that they can scale using Co location or a combination of colocation and cloud or multi cloud so that they can produce faster and deliver throughout the entire world. Those are just two examples. At the same time keeping them safe and also balancing what's happening with their staff. So skill sets in the staff area have been a challenge because it's moving. Very quickly. And so those mid-size accounts need help and we're here to help them. Well, helping them is sort of what you're known for at in Volta, not just in those three critical verticals that you guys address, but also at home if you will. Beyond all the innovation in Volta does to provide customers best in class technology and data center infrastructure solutions, I hear in Volta is doing a lot to give back to the communities you serve. Tell us a little bit more about that. We do. We took a lot of pride in doing a lot of volunteer work. In fact, it's part of what I would call our core values with our employees. You know, the cities we sit in, we serve those regions. So volunteering, whether it be at the Ronald McDonald House or serving the Girl Scouts or raising money for a good cause, we like to give back to what is meaningful to both our employees. Been to the regions that we serve, I, I, I actually love your social and seeing all those great photos of your team literally getting getting their hands dirty, planting trees for example. Just really truly committed to the community, something that hopefully inspires even more companies to do. Now you'll also, we can't forget to mention that you will be joining us this afternoon on our panel for greener data. Of course in Volta, one of the returning authors for greener data volume to We're excited to have you guys back. So much talk about sustainability, but you guys have some great initiatives that really differentiate you. Could you tell us a little bit more? I sure can. So you know one of the things that we do is we use the ambient air when we can across the country. We have 12 data centers across the country. So you know if you think about the outside temperature it's a different in the different regions of the United States. So you have to take that into consideration. So we've been working on using ambient air for many, many years and we've put metrics in place. To make sure that we're always improving and that's just one of many things. There's a second area though that I would talk about and that is choosing your partners wisely. So, So we have chosen partners very specifically who are focused on greener data and fit right into our initiatives. As it relates to being more responsible and being more responsible guys is measurements not just in scope ones. Too, but also Scope 3. So that's where that key sponsors, key partnerships really do come into play. So incredible words of advice there. So what else are we can we expect from involved in the second-half of 2023. So we're launching some really cool things across the board listening to our clients along the way making it easier for them to consume products and services from us. So you'll see a lot of next generation type products and services. Um, come out the door so that it's easier to interface along the way. So excited to see those launches hit the market.
