What a journey Sam. This is one of the most inspiring posts I’ve read in ANY platform. I take my hat off to you mate. You deserve your success my friend. I’ve had plenty of failures myself - that inner critic, the constant battle against impostor syndrome. I’m sure there will be more but I’m gonna keep moving forward no matter what. Damn good post Sam. Your 2013 was my 2016. Spent 2k in gear, thought I was terrible, quit. 2020, started “Launch Your Personal Brand”. Did a few episodes, thought I was terrible, quit. If I only kept going back in 2016…. That’s why I’ll never let that happen again.
Inspiring ?? Never bought any course however learned from the best here on LinkedIn Writing has changed me completely Became self aware and my strengths. Now it's a matter of time.... The ball is rolling
What an inspiring journey Sam. I too have been a victim of my inner critic too many times. The thought of 'I'm not good enough', 'How can I compete with such people' and all these. But this time, I've overcome my inner critic and have been posting consistently on LinkedIn. Keep inspiring and keep giving value.
I love this! There are SO many stories like this and sadly many that just stop. Thank you for sharing as IM / marketers never talk about this and it gets to be shared more as this is the Real reality to success!!!
There are many reasons I follow you and this post is one. It's relatable in that you're saying there will be tough times. We will fail at times but if we keep going well who knows what will happen. It's like that Pantene shampoo ad with it's line "It won't happen overnight but it will happen." Not sure why that ad sprung to mind but it seemed oddly appropriate.
