Thanks for the quick summary! I'd love to hear your thoughts on Lily Zheng 's DEI Deconstructed
This is so helpful! I have many of these on my wishlist already.
Thank you Dr. Jonathan Ashong-Lamptey your work and insights are invaluable to us all.
Dr. Jonathan Ashong-Lamptey thank you for the mention of #BeyondDiversity in this, honored to be included along such respected voices. And you've enlightened me to a few new names in the space, which I'll absolutely check out ??
When you work with clients do you ever recommend a specific book based on the particular circumstances in the organisation? I'm very interested that you're doing this. I love reading but sometimes a book is written in a way that the message is hidden by the writing style. There are books I would definitely not recommend because they are such hard work to read.
Dr. Jonathan Ashong-Lamptey - thank you for your book summaries of these ten books. I had seen 6 of these and will add the others to my own list to check out. Some other books (I own the first 5 listed below) to perhaps consider are listed below: - Biased: Uncovering the hidden prejudice that shapes what we see, think and do by Jennifer Eberhardt - Leading Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: A Guide for Systemic Change in Multinational Organizations by Rohini Anand - Diversifying Diversity: Your Guide to Being an Active Ally of Inclusion in the Workplace by Poornima Luthra - Inclusion on Purpose: An Intersectional Approach to Creating a Culture of Belonging at Work by Ruchika Tulshyan and Ijeoma Oluo - Inclusion Revolution: The Essential Guide to Dismantling Racial Inequity in the Workplace by Daisy Auger-Domínguez - The First, The Few, The Only: How Women of Color can Redefine Power in Corporate America by Deepa Purushothaman - UNBIAS: Addressing Unconscious Bias at Work by Stacey A. Gordon - DEI Deconstructed: Your No-Nonsense Guide to Doing the Work and Doing It Right by Lily Zheng - Bias Interrupted: Creating Inclusion for Real and for Good by Joan C. Williams - The Inclusion Breakthrough by Frederick A. Miller
