I quickly read through the Ontario Health Providers website: https://lnkd.in/gbYrKFTV - largest province by population 15 million Regulated (29) and Unregulated Health Professions (3) are listed here - total registered numbers from google searches - and a few references are listed at the bottom of this image most common resource: Trend analysis - Job Bank Canada https://lnkd.in/gyvQ2ZNx Not exact #data, only approximate (there are also groupings for some professions) My question: Many of these professions start year-1 education with the same general courses - and over time, specialize within their professions. It is a complex web of learning and system but, is there a way to #upskill #reskill #crossTrain as people need #money and #mentalBreaks ? Also, is there a way to create a #fluidworkfroce in order to meet societal demands in #healthcare ? We have the #technology, #resources, and #interests (plus #workforce #crisis) to adapt the current operations... and train #interprofessional providers These are just some of the questions in my head.... I'm open to discussions. I also stand corrected : ) additional reading: article on #turfwars in healthcare 7 ways to mitigate and resolve turf battles in healthcare organizations https://lnkd.in/gbmeNKwC #nursesonlinkedin #Futureofhealthcare #futureofeducation #futureoflearning #futureofwork adaptablefolks.com #health #education #learning #people #collaboration #cocreating solutions
Andy Hines could you apply foresight to this mess?? I have, and a fluid workforce would help society get care, workers act under humaine and just conditions, and healthcare would offer health not sickness ... Thoughts?
