It was great to moderate Oliver Wyman’s panel this morning on “Accelerating the transition” in partnership with Maxfield Weiss of CDP, with our fantastic panelists Kara Succoso Mangone David Harris Rachael Everard Laura B. Sonia Thimmiah Eric Lim. It was inspiring to hear how our panellists are working to drive real change in their organisations, starting from strategy and driving through to culture change and capacity building. There was strong support for the growing use of transition plans to guide and explain this work, and the need to balance consistency with the flexibility to capture the individual circumstances of different companies. And a strong signal that banks are increasingly looking to understand the progress companies are making on the transition, and using this to inform lending decisions. #owclimate #netzero #cop27
