HELPING UKRAINE Dear clients, colleagues, and friends,? We have all been shocked and horrified at the invasion of Ukraine, and the brutal impact on its citizens - and we all want to help in the most effective way possible. Many of you know that two cherished members of our team, Alla and Svitlana, have been directly affected by these events, with family and friends who are variously trapped, under fire, enduring harrowing journeys out of the country, or facing the bureaucratic morass of refugee status. From the outset, they have been directly involved in not only helping their families but also rallying support, and coordinating the urgent supplies required, ensuring they reach Ukraine.?? With the situation, and needs on the ground, changing by the day we at Base Consulting have been researching the most effective ways to help. Countless of you - our industry friends, colleagues and clients - have approached us to offer assistance, which is why we are writing today, because together we can do more. We looked at collecting supplies and materials, however, this list changes by the day and increasingly includes specialist materials. Therefore, after speaking to people working within the existing infrastructure, we are asking that those who wish to donate, direct your donations to HELP UKRAINE (https://lnkd.in/e5SidB7y). Help Ukraine is coordinating the efforts on the Polish border. They have strong logistical channels between Poland and Ukraine, as well as across Ukraine. Donations allow them to purchase and distribute the humanitarian and medical materials needed in the moment. We have all seen that this is an immensely fluid situation, and we know that requirements will continue to change. We will reach out again in the coming weeks as the needs evolve.
