In honor of #WomenHistoryMonth, I am grateful to the extraordinary women of Sterling Network NYC. In 2018, I had the privilege to join this diverse group of leaders from the public, private and non-profit sectors working together to increase economic mobility across the five boroughs, with racial equity as a central guiding value. I salute Ann Harakawa, Bernell Grier, Betsy Plum, Cathy Kim, Debra-Ellen Glickstein, Denice Williams, Rev. Dr. Emma Jordan-Simpson, Jennifer Cowan, Jill Eisenhard, Karen Schoellkopf, Kemi Ilesanmi, Maria Mottola, nancy ginsburg, Rahesha Amon, Rasmia Kirmani Frye and Rose DeStefano. It was lovely to be with them during a recent retreat. A key takeaway for me is to emphasize justice, equity and joy during one’s leadership development journey. I appreciate all Sterling Fellows who have graciously shared their experiences, resources and relationships to produce tangible change (https://lnkd.in/dCagXbD). I am also thankful for Lisa Cowan, Alicia Sylvia, Trish Tchume, Ana Polanco and the generous support of ROBERT STERLING CLARK FOUNDATION, INC.
