100 years ago, What happened to lumber prices after the Spanish Flu ended and construction took off? Did that price level last forever? Just saying. Input prices rising from supply shocks + demand growth does not always imply permanently higher prices. #housing #remodeling
Good information. I work with a lot of Home Services businesses who have seen the cost of materials continue to rise. Causing price increases to their jobs, making it more expensive for consumers.

What a great graphic! It is common to extrapolate current trends too far into the future. Given the volatile nature of commodities, the longer-term response and dynamism of markets, we should be cautious of extrapolating current trends without careful consideration
