My latest Forbes article! I'm excited to share the Top 3 AI Trends for Enterprises in 2021 across Drug discovery, Work from Home, & Edge Computing. The article highlights the key data initiatives #business was forced to take in 2020, thanks to #Covid. It shows why these will make AI go mainstream next year. Then, I dive into each of the 3 big industry trends. It's a mix of industry examples and some crystal-ball gazing. I spent the past few weeks reading and developing this article. Thanks to Tom Redman for the inputs on #data quality. Thanks for all of your comments on my LinkedIn post last week, on trends. I incorporated some suggestions. I would love to hear what you think about the article. Which of these trends or specific #artificialintelligence examples excite you? https://lnkd.in/eESNZps
Nice, timely article Ganes Kesari. Happy holidays and a great 2021.
Nicely done Ganes Kesari. I particularly like the historical perspective, and I have to wonder what in the current crop of innovation will be the frozen food equivalent and what will be the jet engine equivalent? To me data quality is a bit like a jet engine in that the jet engine itself did not create a smaller world directly but enabled safe air travel that ushered in a time when travelling to new places and expanding your world view become more possible. It's hard to overestimate how much innovation this spread of ideas is responsible for. The right emphasis on data quality will enable AI scale, shared research data and collaborative work. One big difference of course is jet engines were exciting and maybe even 'sexy'. Data quality, not so much;)
