I’m excited to share my latest article here on LinkedIn highlighting some of the unexpected insights on living with a growth mindset that I learned while working in ... a tannery. That’s right — one of my earliest jobs involved sorting through stacks of semi-processed shoe leather in small town India! I’d love for you to give it a read and let me know what you think below! What did I learn? For starters, growth happens when you least expect it. And it’s not always a straight or steady climb. Not to mention, “embracing failure” takes practice. One doesn’t naturally think, “Today, I will celebrate failure and learn from it.” I haven’t always gotten it right and I continue to be a work in progress. But I wanted to share some reflections on what real growth — and having a real growth mindset — looks like, even when it isn’t pretty. I hope these lessons on resilience and patience can be of help as we navigate growth together after a tough 2020. A huge thanks to everyone who supported me on this journey — and please share your own thoughts and stories below in the event it may inspire others out there!
