Life before kids: 30 hours of free time per week Life with 1 kid: 3 hours of free time per week Life with 2 kids: Negative free time per week Life with 2 kids and COVID school closure: time loses all meaning, I don't know what month it is, getting dressed is an accomplishment, I forget what the outside looks like. Please help

David, I’m father of triplet 12 year olds (one with autism) and a 10 year old, so believe me, I can relate. Honestly, especially without family around, we don’t get much time for ourselves. We haven’t had a weekend away together in a decade. That being said, we love being parents and to maintain sanity, we simplify by choosing not to over extend ourselves to the breaking point. Also, almost every Friday night, we get a sitter and go out for three hours together.
