I spent 2 months creating a go-to-market strategy and developing lead generation and sales processes for my client from scratch. I spent the next two months on account research, personalized proposals, warming-up target accounts, and outreach to get these results: Strategic accounts that replied: 12/30 Reply rate - 37% Sales pipeline generated - $300k While from first glance, it seems that it took too long to orchestrate the campaign, it was even faster than I expected. Here is why. I got a request from a custom software development company that was struggling with lead generation. They've never done marketing, worked as a "one size fits all" vendor, and grew by referrals and roadshows. During the discovery call, they mentioned that they do traditional email and LinkedIn outreach, but had a miserable reply rate. Besides referrals, they attended roadshows booking meetings with event attendees, and presenting their services. The only problem was that they saw a massive drop-off after these meetings (5% reply to after-event follow-ups).
